BRASELTON, Ga. -- The University of North Alabama women's golf team is in seventh place after two rounds of the 2019 ASUN Conference Championships being played at the Chateau Elan Legends Course.
UNA took 23 strokes off its opening round total as the Lions turned in a 345 on Monday for a two round, 713 total.
Kennesaw State leads the tournament at 599, followed by Florida Gulf Coast (618), North Florida (627), Stetson (638), Jacksonville (664), Lipscomb (686) and UNA.
Taryn Simmons led UNA golfers with a 175 total to rank 28th individually. UNA's
Emily Lankford is 30th (178),
Megan Fusak is tied for 31st (180),
Hannah Pope is 33rd (181) and
Kaitlyn Adams is 34th (207).
The tournament concludes with a final round on Tuesday.
