JACKSONVILLE (April 16, 2025) – The University of North Alabama women's tennis team received its first postseason honor of the Spring 2025 season, with the Atlantic Sun Conference naming senior Stanislava Bobrovnikova to the Academic All-ASUN Team on Wednesday.
Bobrovnikova earns her first ASUN academic honor after her selection to the six-player academic team, which is voted on by the league's sports information directors and academic representatives. She is majoring in Exercise Science with a 3.62 GPA.
The honor also marks the second time North Alabama has been represented on the conference's academic team, with UNA's Nina Linke earning the first in program history back in 2021.
The senior had a successful campaign on the court, winning a total of 25 matches this season while sporting a 13-4 singles record and 12-5 doubles record. She also played both singles and doubles matches from the top flight.
In conference play, Bobrovnikova was a solid 6-3 in singles play with wins over Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Lipscomb, Central Arkansas, FGCU and Queens. She went 6-2 in doubles play in the ASUN with victories over Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Lipscomb, EKU, Queens and North Florida.
Bobrovnikova and the Lions next turn their attention to the 2025 ASUN Tournament in Jacksonville, facing No. 6 Austin Peay in the quarterfinals on Thursday, April 17 at 4 p.m.
