THE RUNDOWN: The University of North Alabama baseball team lost its most recent series against Austin Peay last weekend in Clarksville, Tenn. The Lions made good pushes in both game two and game three but lost 6-5 and 11-7, respectively. Redshirt freshman
Petey Craska hit .500 for the weekend and had three runs on Sunday.
SERIES HISTORY: This will be the 46th all-time meeting between the two programs. The Lions are 32-13 all-time against UT Martin with their most recent win coming in March 2024 by a score of 5-2. Since 2021, the two teams have met seven times — all in Florence. UNA is perfect in their last five games vs. UT Martin dating back to 2022.
SCOUTING THE SKYHAWKS: UTM is 16-26 this season with a 7-10 conference record. The Skyhawks recently competed in an Ohio Valley Conference series against Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, Tenn. winning one of three. REBUILDING OF "THE MIKE": The University of North Alabama baseball team played the final games at Mike D. Lane Field on May 10-12, 2024 against North Florida. Former head coaches Mike Lane and Mike Keehn were honored with a pre-game ceremony for the final game at the old Mike D. Lane Field, as well as many past players from the program, some of which are in the UNA Athletic Hall of Fame. A total of 341 days went by between the last home game of the old stadium and the open of Bank Independent Stadium earlier this month.

th hit, he joined UNA Hall of Famers James Barksdale (261), Douglas Hargett (243) and Willingham (205), as well as 2018 graduate Kyle Hubbach (215).
