CHICAGO, Ill. (September 22, 2026) – The University of North Alabama men's golf team finished the Highlands Invitational on Tuesday in 11th place at Chicago Highlands Club.
The Lions were 39-over to close out a tie in 11th with Southern Illinois with a 903 team score. Transfer sophomore Lucas Latimer rose 10 spots on the final day to finish in a tie for 44th at eight-over through the three rounds.
The Lions' starting lineup consisted of three sophomores in Jedd Brady, Arthur Estas and Latimer alongside two freshmen in Anton Hedliden and Morris.
North Alabama competed with Western Carolina and Southern Illinois in the final round. The Lions finished in seventh for birdies with 42.
After Latimer, Morris fell into a tie at 44th with his six-over day. Both Estas and Brady continued their tie at 15-over in 64th with Hedliden rounding out the group in 70th.
Three schools shot under par for the two rounds as ETSU (-21), Wake Forest (-20) and Eastern Michigan (-9) claimed the top three spots — ETSU and Wake Forest are co-hosted the tournament this week. Wake Forest had a 19-under final round and assumed first place before ETSU closed out the tournament by a stroke.

North Alabama travels to the Cullan Brown Collegiate in Lexington, Ky. on Monday, Oct. 5 for the third tournament of the year.
